Kemal Okuyan, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) has sent a letter to the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba. Addressing his appreciation for all the contributions of the people of Cuba for the well-being of humanity in these hard times, Okuyan stated that the Cuban people teach humanity the core values of being human.
Cuba has allowed a British cruise ship to dock with at least five cases of Covid-19 on board after multiple countries denied assistance.
Moreover, the Cuban pharmaceutical industry guaranteed the production of the 22 drugs used for the treatment of the COVID-19, especially Interferon Alpha 2B, which has proven to be very effective in fighting the disease. Last week, Cuban and Chinese doctors arrived in Italy to help the health authorities.

Dear comrades,
On behalf of the Communist Party of Turkey and all your comrades from Turkey, I am addressing our gratitude and appreciation for all the contributions you have made for the well-being of humanity in these hard times. The exemplary solidarity, dedication and hard work of Cuban professionals for the help of all those in need is a genuine source of hope for the future.
Still subject to the economic, commercial and financial blockade of US imperialism, Cuban people teach humanity the core values of being human, which are in essence the values of the revolution.
We wish success and good health to all Cubans, health workers, scientists and all those involved in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
Communist Party of Turkey will always remain shoulder to shoulder with Cuban comrades in our common struggle for an egalitarian and bright world.
