According to Anka News, The Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey called for foreign investors to explore “opportunities in Turkey.”

Using the phrase of “qualified and cost-effective labour force” to describe aforementioned “opportunities” in the country, The Investment Office states that “Turkey constitutes Europe’s third-largest labour pool with a labour force of 32.7 million people. The young population of the country as the most important factor in the growth of the labor force has contributed to getting top position compared to competitors. It also has the highest growth in the labour force compared to European Union countries.”

The call made by The Investment Office brought to mind “The Property Buying Guide: İstanbul” previously issued by İstanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO), inviting foreign investors to the country by underlining that “Hourly labor cost in manufacturing 5.6 US dollars in Turkey, while in Germany, it costs 47.2 US dollars.”
