A Turkish woman on Aug. 18 was briefly detained over her child wearing her "My dad hero" T-shirt, when she visited her husband in prison.
According to a Twitter account who claims to be the mother’s lawyer, the two were denied entrance to the prison due to the T-shirt the girl was wearing and gendarmerie officers took both to a police station where they were later released.
More than 35 people have been detained by Turkish police after a suspect tried over an alleged plot to assassinate Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the coup night, Gökhan Güçlü, was photographed going into court wearing the white "Hero" T-shirt.
