On April 11, a fascist group attacked three members of TKG as they were reading anti-ANTO pamphlet of their organisation at Hacettepe University campus in Ankara.

The private security of the campus arrived at the scene during the attack, and yet they shook hands with the fascists. In the meantime, 2 other TKG members were attacked at the campus as they were going to their departments and got injured.

While the injured TKG members were taken to a hospital, other students gathered to support TKG members were also attacked by the fascists and the private security.

As the anti-NATO campaign of the Communist Youth of Turkey commences, the fascist attacks against them increase at university campuses in different provinces of Turkey. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called anti-war students at Boğaziçi University “communists, traitors” on March 19, and 10 students were arrested upon his order.
