Asalettin Aslanoğlu, Branch Chairman of the Textile Workers’ Union, explained that they have commenced enforcement on Zara for 151 workers who were not paid their severances following the bankruptcy of Bravo Ready-Wear factory. Aslanoğlu stated that the severance in question makes up to 3.200.000 Turkish Lira (more than $827 thousand).

Stating that Zara has not made any attempts in favour of the workers although they had made a contract with the international union, Aslanoğlu also called Zara to give up treating Turkey as a third-world country, one ready to be exploited.
