Why everybody contents with Idlib deal?

"We have to reveal the hypocrisy within this front. The US, France, Britain, Germany and their allies are least interested in the life and safety of the people. Everybody knows very well how they all murdered millions in Iraq and Libya in the last 20 years, let alone all those massacres in their long histories, and how they shared oil resources"

Erhan Nalçacı, a CC member of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) wrote an article regarding the recent Russia-Turkey deal on Idlib. In his article, Nalçacı stresses that all the parties seek for sustaining their hegemonic zones in Syria and that's why they all applauded Russia-Turkey deal. On September 17, the leaders of Russia and Turkey agreed to establish a demilitarized zone in Syria's Idlib region, the last major stronghold of jihadists.

Why everybody contents with Idlib deal?

I believe that the Idlib deal signed between Russia and Turkey in Sochi will go down as the weirdest deal in the history, because all the forces striving to strangle one another keeps praising it.

Let's hear what Trump says about it:

"I think millions of people would've been killed, that would have been a shame. Turkey has been a big help. Turkey has been great."

I need to note, first of all, the praise of this monster representing the American capital is derogatory for all the nations. And yet, everything exists with its counterpart and I will talk about the event that undone this disparaging situation for Turkey at the end of the article.

Let's continue with the endless blissfulness about Idlib.

The EU representative says:

"We could breathe freely again after the Idlib deal brokered by Turkey and Russia, which prevented a massacre. I would like to thank Turkey and Russia for their efforts."

What about the representative of Saudi Arabia that massacred hundreds of thousands of people in Yemen?:

"Any time you avoid a situation when the conflict increases it is a positive step. And we hope that that issue can be dealt with through negotiations. I think this is a positive development."

We have to reveal the hypocrisy within this front. The US, France, Britain, Germany and their allies are least interested in the life and safety of the people. Everybody knows very well how they all murdered millions in Iraq and Libya in the last 20 years, let alone all those massacres in their long histories, and how they shared oil resources. They watched around 15 thousand people drown at the Mediterranean during the migration wave since 2014 just because of this inhuman attack. They are now after establishing detention camps in Europe.

In fact, the Syrian army was planning to defeat around hundreds of thousands of jihadists stuck at Idlib through point shots and street conflicts with the help of Russia; not planning a massacre.

The US imperialism, on the other hand, was under preparation for an attack against Syria under the cover of chemical weapons by staging that mise en scene again. The Sixth Fleet, as well as the British and French navies, came around the Syrian coasts. Let's note the role of Israel in this possible attack.

We do not know what intelligence Russia and Syria had with regards to a possible US attack, but invalidating this attack with the agreement appears as the primary reason of their pleasure with the Sochi agreement.

Everybody knows the other very important reason of Russia's contentment with the Sochi agreement. Nowadays, the intra-NATO tensions appear as one of the major reasons that hinder a further escalating US aggressiveness against Russia. In this column, we have indicated to Germany's ambivalent stance several times. Moreover, Turkey's balance policy and Turkey-led distrustful environment within NATO are a big advantage for Russia, and the Sochi agreement has paved the way for the continuation of Turkey's indecisive situation.

However, we have not talked about yet why the US and its allies are so pleased with the Sochi agreement.

If the jihadist gangs were purged of Idlib by the Syrian government, the region in eastern Syria under the US hegemony would be more controversial and more illegitimate. Now, the partition of Syria into the zones of hegemony has become more apparent. A Sunni north-western region under Turkey's hegemony, a Kurdish-based north-eastern region under the US hegemony, and a Syrian state under Russian hegemony in the rest of the territories.

We know that what is called stability under imperialism is an imperialist sharing. [Turkey's Foreign Minister] Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu's offer has echoed immediately, and seven states, including the US, have offered negotiations on the Syrian Constitution and elections in order to enable this "stability". In other words, they want to clarify what monopolies of construction, energy, medicine and manufacture will take their shares in Syria through the above-mentioned hegemonies.

The limits of Turkey's hegemony, and how Turkey will assimilate the jihadists in its hegemonic region as part of the system are still open to debate. We do not know what would happen during a great havoc to which the world is pregnant.

To talk about the incident that has levelled Trump's humiliating praise while honouring Turkey:

Two administrators of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which is increasingly getting stronger and represents the class stance of the US working people independent from the capital in the US, visited Turkey and the resisting workers last week. Despite the long distances, a vivid relation has been established between the labourers of two different countries, who struggle under similar conditions.

In all aspects, the international solidarity of the working class politics will have a huge part in the liberation of the Syrian people, both in Turkey and Syria.
