Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he supported the US-Britain-France strikes on Syria as they were aimed at "taking stand" against alleged use of chemical weapons by Damascus.
Late Friday the imperialist powers launched a coordinated airstrike in Syria, under the pretext of the unsubstantiated international campaign about the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian town of Douma.
"A year ago, I declared Israel’s full support for @POTUS Trump’s decision to take a stand against the use and spread of chemical weapons. President Trump’s resolve and Israel’s support remain unchanged," Netanyahu said as quoted by his press service on Twitter.
According to the Israeli leader, the three Western nations "demonstrated that their commitment is not limited to proclamations of principle."

"Saudi Arabia fully supports the strikes launched by the United States, France and Britain against Syria because they represent a response to the regime's crimes," a foreign ministry statement said.
The statement said the strikes were prompted by the "Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians, including women and children".
Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states have been key backers of terrorist groups fighting Syrian forces. Riyadh has backed the jihadist Jaish al-Islam terrorist group, which held the Syrian town of Douma where the alleged toxic gas attack on April 7 took place.
Syria's foreign ministry on Saturday lashed out at Riyadh, saying it was not surprised to see it back the US, France and Britain's attacks on military installations.
"It is not strange that the Wahhabist regime supports the tripartite aggression on Syria, especially... after the surrender of its terrorist tool, Jaish al-Islam," a ministry source said, according to state television.
