On the 72nd anniversary of NAKBA, the destruction of Palestine in 1948, on May 15, The Federation of Women of Greece (OGE) has greeted the struggle of the Palestinian people against the barbaric Israeli occupation.
Expressing their solidarity with the people of Palestine, the statement said:
"The Federation of Women of Greece (OGE) has been in solidarity with the Palestinian people for a long time.
Today, on the 72nd anniversary of NAKBA (the destruction of Palestine in 1948), we express our full support for the Palestinian people's struggle against the barbaric Israeli occupation that continues and is constantly deteriorating with the back of USA/NATO/EU and is a deadly threat to all the peoples of the MiddleEast, especially today with the announcement of greater annexation of Palestinian territories with the full support of USA.
We strengthen our solidarity with the Palestinian people, women, and children and we demand the immediate termination of the Israeli occupation, the return of Palestinians to their homes, the immediate release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, the establishment of the Palestinian State with its people sovereign and East Jerusalem its capital."
