Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that in case of demand from Libya, Turkey could send troops to the country and could provide military support to the Libyan government.

"If Libya demands, Turkey will decide by itself, we do not get permission from anyone. We are ready to give every support to Libya," said Erdoğan, adding that Turkey is entitled to protect its ships operating in Libya.
