The United States and Turkey are holding diplomatic discussions about deescalating the situation in Syria's northwestern Afrin district where Ankara is conducting a military operation, Pentagon spokesman Adrian Rankine-Galloway told reporters on Monday.
"There are diplomatic discussions ongoing right now to deescalte the situation there, in Afrin," Rankine-Gallowa said in a press briefing.
