Presidential Spokesman İbrahim Kalın made a statement about the 2 million messages saying “Enough” (“Tamam”) posted after President Erdoğan’s speech saying “If, one day, our nation says 'enough', then we will move to the side,". Kalın stated “A perception operation through social media is a futile effort. Our nation will decide to that through elections. Doing a perception operation on fake accounts does not mean anything, the truth will come out after the elections...The numbers of tweets or becoming a trend topic (TT) are not binding.”

In spite of Kalın’s explanation, who has been promoting "T A M A M" tweets were sent from fake accounts in his conversation, yesterday's tweets saying "Continue" (“Devam”) were revealed to have been sent from fake accounts instead and Twitter deleting thousands of "DEVAM" tweets as well.

Despite the revealed truth of “DEVAM” tweets, Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) Spokesman Mahir Ünal stated “We know why Islamic preacher Fettullah Gülen’s network (FETÖ) and Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) is against our President... Let's take the case of “T A M A M” tweets. Most of these tweets are being sent from the countries where the PKK and the FETÖ are active. Most of them are bot accounts.”

Deputy PM and Government Spokesman Bekir Bozdağ stated “They are dreaming. June 24 elections will be day when their dreams turn into a nightmare” about the “T A M A M” tweets on May 9.

At the same day, Workers of Municipality and Local Administration Services Union (Bel-Sen) members wrote “T A M A M” with their bodies in front of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality during their lunch break. Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty also wrote "T A M A M" with candles and shared their photo on social media.

Erdoğan’s statement did not only get reactions on social media but also in İstanbul’s Kadıköy province. People came together on streets with the slogan “Enough”. Police attacked to several of these marches, after the police forces were thrown out from the streets they took 10 activists from other streets into custody.

Meanwhile students of Middle East Technical University wrote "Tamam" ("Enough") in Devrim ("Revolution") Stadium.
