The Syrian National Dialogue Congress is being prepared, no one has postponed it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday.

"This congress is being prepared now, no one postponed it, as the date of the congress has not been officially announced," Lavrov said at a press conference with Mauritania's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih.

According to Lavrov, Russia, Iran and Turkey are currently agreeing on the agenda and timing of the congress. The minister also stressed that there are contacts with all Syrian forces: government and opposition, including opposition groups inside the country and abroad.

"The response is very, very positive, although, of course, there are those who categorically refuse to talk with the government, again demanding a regime change and considering themselves the only representatives of the Syrian people," Lavrov said.
