The Syrian army uncovered a large storage facility containing chemical substances of Saudi origin in the East Ghouta region, Al-Ikhbariya TV reported on Tuesday.
According to the Al-Ikhbariya report, the chemical substances were found inside the recently captured town of Al-Shifouniyah, which was previously under the control of the Saudi-backed Jaysh Al-Islam militants.

The chlorine agents are often used to make explosives and other bombs that are later deployed against the Syrian Army and civilians in Damascus.
