A supplementary textbook published by Mavideniz Yayınları for the first year pupils contains an image of a little child wearing a wedding dress and the phrase ‘Özge[female name] became a little bride’, according to daily Evrensel.
The book was approved by the Board of education and discipline of the Turkish Education Ministry. The experts state that this is not a simple kind of mistake that can be neglected.
