Ruling AKP party deputy violates Turkey's referendum rules

Şamil Tayyar, a deputy of AKP government, disregarded one of Turkey's referendum rules on the prohibition of using image and voice recorders at the voting cabins.

Tayyar shared a photograph of his "yes" vote on social media, saying "May your day be full of YES".

According to the rules of the Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey, it is prohibited to enter at voting cabins with any kind of image and voice recorders like mobile phones, photographers or cameras during elections.
