Ziya Pir, a lawmaker from Turkey's HDP, has been elected as the vice-president of the Technology Trends and Security committee of NATO-PA, the party announced on Twitter.

The fall session of the war and crime machine NATO-PA meeting has been taking place in Bucharest, Romania.

Ziya Pir was elected as the vice-president of a sub-committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in November 2016.
