The Anatolian Youth Organization, a partisan of the Islamist Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), called for jihad by displaying a banner in the name of "Mawlid An-Nabi," the observance of the birthday of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, in Selçuk University in Konya, Turkey, on Nov. 29.

"Our Master the Prophet says: belief, jihad, consciousness" was written on the banner unfurled in the Alaeddin Keykubad campus of the university, and the organisation asked students to write their thoughts about the prophet in sticky notes. How the university management will profit from this unscientific and anti-secular activity is the question now.
