An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 hit southwest Turkey at 2022 GMT on Wednesday. No casualties have been reported.

The depth of the quake was five kilometres, Boğaziçi University's Kandilli Observatory said, while the United States Geological Survey (USGS) put the number to 10.
