Just like many people in Turkey, some employees of LC Waikiki could not go to work because of this week’s heavy snow. Threatening the employees, “team leaders” and managers force them to make up the workload for their absence.

Store managers threatened employees that their annual leaves would be cut if they did not make up. This condition, however, does not apply to store managers and directors.

Employees of the company also report that their working conditions are “terrible”, stating that they don’t even have heating and they have to work with their coats on. The store managers, on the other hand, who force the employees to make up, work in air conditioned rooms, and the make-up rule do not apply for them.
