In an interview with pro-Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) news outlet Roj News, Gharib threatened to release photos and the identities of the MİT members to the media, saying Ankara should be thankful they have not yet done so, the report said.
Tensions between Ankara and the PUK have remained intense after the expelling of a PUK representative in Ankara which followed the alleged abduction of two MİT members in the party zone in the Kurdistan region.
Gharib said the KCK and PKK were expecting the PUK to take action in the wake of "attempts by the MİT elements to assassinate a top PKK leader" by deporting Turkish diplomats and sealing up of facilities used by Turkey in the PUK zone.
PUK Politburo member, Saadi Ahmed Pira, told NRT on Thursday that the PUK is in contact with Turkey to resolve the issue.
PUK leadership member Farid Asasard told NRT Turkey has called on his party to find two people who have gone missing in the city of Sulaimani. Asasard said Turkey had sent two people holding diplomatic passports to Sulaimani, although neither of them was in fact diplomats. Two Turkish citizens came to the city of Sulaimani to carry out a "special job" he added.
