European Union (EU) announced Friday that Council President Donald Tusk and Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will host the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Brussels for a bilateral meeting ahead of the NATO summit later in the day.
Ankara interested in the continuation of the process of its accession to the EU membership with the mutually beneficial outcome for both sides, Erdoğan said in a written statement earlier this month.
