Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed the possibility of a meeting in the near future during a recent telephone conversation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

"The possibility of contacts in the near future was discussed in a recent phone conversation," Peskov said when asked about the possibility of Erdoğan's visit to Russia.
