Communist Party of Turkey members were taken into custody in Adana, a southern province of Turkey on Monday.

Undercover police officers tried to provoke the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) members distributing leaflets opposing the upcoming referendum.

Police officers were reported to have asked the citizens their identity cards and whether they would give a "yes" or a "no" vote in the referendum. They took the Communist Party of Turkey members under custody.
