The body-guard of Turkish gang-lord Sedat Peker shared on social media the photograph of his firearm on his "yes" ballot as a threat to "no" voters in Turkey's referendum.

Ufuk Yapıcı, the body-guard of Turkish gang-lord Sedat Peker, entered at the voting cabin with his firearm and photographed it on his "yes" ballot.

Sedat Peker had recently threatened the people over a possible demonstration of "no" voters during or after the referendum. He said, "If anybody attempts to hinder the referendum with demonstrations in the streets, they should know that we will be waiting for them."

Peker is a disreputable gang-lord in Turkey, known with his close ties with the ruling AKP government. He had threatened last year the Academics for Peace petitioners against the curfews in predominantly Kurdish south-eastern districts. Peker issued death threats against those academics, saying he will "shed streams of blood". Peker is still on trial for this death threat.
