Turkey and Pakistan on Friday signed a deal for the sale of 30 T129 ATAK helicopters, according to the Turkish Defense Industries Undersecretariat (SSB).
The deal for the sale of Turkey's ATAK helicopters was signed between Turkish Aerospace Industries, TAI, and the Pakistan Defense Production Ministry. This is the biggest single export in the history of the Turkish defense industry, SSB said in a statement.
Turkish media reports put the value at around $1.5 billion.
Turkey would also provide logistics, spare parts, training and ammunition, state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
